In the course of the last 33  years AGRO-TECH Minikowo has developed to become the largest and most  important agricultural fair in North-West Poland. This exhibition with a  long tradition holds a fi rm place in the diary of Polish agricultural  specialists. Some 40,000 expert visitors came to the exhibition in 2009  to see 446 exhibitors grasping the opportunity to present their firms  and products to a broad public. Eleven years of  breeding stock shows!

The best  livestock from the region will be presented for the eleventh time at the  next AGRO-TECH Minikowo and the best of these will win awards.

The major livestock groups such as dairy and beef  cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, fur-bearing animals and poultry will be  presented. 80 breeders with almost 400 animals promise the interested  specialist public great variety and a very special event. Only the very  best will win awards such as Champion or Super-Champion. The high  quality of the event is corroborated by the cooperation with and support  from the Ministry of Agriculture and Village Development and various  trade organisations

and federations.

A unique collection of cultivated plants!

This year the collection of agricultural plants will  display more than 170 new and interesting varieties of grains, pulse  crops, oil plants, leguminous plants, fodder and crops for the  production of energy. There will also be substantial interest in species  and varieties of spring-winter grains and winter forms of pulse crops.  The collection is organized by the ROLNAS Seed Company, with the  cooperation of the Technical

Natural Sciences  University in Bydgoszcz and the company Bayer Cropscience, which will  demonstrate the effects of proper plant protection.

Machine  demonstrations and forum discussions – a dream team inspires visitors

Together with our partners DLG (Deutsche Land  wirtschafts- Gesell schaft – German Agricultural Society) with its many  years of experience and the publishing firm APRA, we shall be presenting  a premium programme in 2010 too. Exceptional attractions will include  demonstrations of the use of GPS in field work, sprayers on a special  obstacle course and competitions among vintage tractors. Experienced  agricultural journalists will provide running commentaries at the Shows.  Following the demonstrations interested visitors will also be able to  gather further information at the accompanying forum, where experts

will answer questions from practical farmers.
